My client is a division of  Rocketdyne ,a recognized leader in the design and manufacture of aerospace pressure vessels and subsystems. Their engineering staff uses the latest computer programs for designing and analyzing components and systems for today's aerospace applications. Responsibilities in a broad spectrum of engineering including:
- Computer Aided Design (CAD) and structural design (finite element analysis) of composite and metallic structures.
- Material and Process Experience involving forming, machining, welding and heat treating of metallic structures.
- Materials and process knowledge related to Composite Fabrication in high strength carbon composite structures utilizing filament winding and hand lay-pup methods.
- Material Test Program Definition for acceptance and development of MIL-HDBK design allowables.
- Working knowledge of Aerospace Grade Quality Systems including MR and configuration control processes.

Candidates Must Have:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
• 10 years minimum of aircraft, spacecraft or similar industry experience.
• Candidate must have a good understanding of how programs, engineering, quality and manufacturing work cohesively in a small company environment in short cycle development, qualification and production build cycles.
